Barnegat Bay Area Attractions

Since the mid-1800's the Barnegat Lighthouse, on the North end of the island, has offered a beautiful aerial view of the Barnegat Bay, with its busy inlet for fishing, sport and sail boats enhancing the nautical experience. The South end of the island, in Beach Haven, is lined with Victorian homes and B&B's, and even a small, off-Broadway Theatre. This shore community, with its small-town flavor, is full of lovely shops and fine restaurants. Dining at the shore, one can enjoy a fresh catch prepared by a gourmet chef.
